Abstract [en]

Context: Agile Software Development has gained in popularity in the IT industry over the last several years. Communication is essential in agile software development since it help in the development of project requirements. Prior to the Covid infection,everyone in their organization worked well together. During a pandemic(Covid-19),the only choice for organizations is to choose working from home. As a result, agile team members may encounter too many challenges and have difficulty communicating with one another. This may result in a decrease in software development quality as well as project delays while working from home.   

Objectives: The goal of this research study is to identify and investigate communication issues that practitioners experience during Work from Home duringpandemic(Covid-19). The major purpose of this thesis is also to discover the problemsand obstacles that agile team practitioners face when working from home, andwhat practices are followed to overcome these challenges.

Methods: We choose Systematic mapping study to identify communication difficultiesin agile in this research report. we formulated some of the questionnaires using Systematic mapping study data for survey, finally we obtained survey resultson communication challenges while working from home during pandemic(Covid-19).For analyzing the qualitative data, we conducted the Thematic analysis and Foranalysing the quantitative data we choose descriptive statistical methods.

Results: Based on the survey findings, we highlighted overall communication difficulties as well as how they set up for improving communication from home withone another during pandemic(Covid-19). In addition, we generated a list of 9 communication challenges that individuals have encountered when working from homethrough survey and 16 communication challenges through systematic mapping studyand compared this information to the findings of the systematic mapping research.We summarized some of the take aways from the survey data and learnt some of the lessons, key ways and best practices by analyzing them.
