Abstract [sv]

Inom den moderna filmproduktionen har LED-väggar blivit en framstående teknik som möjliggör skapandet av realistiska bakgrunder och miljöer direkt på inspelningsplatsen. Genom att utnyttja avancerade LED-teknologier erbjuder dessa väggar ett imponerande visuellt verktyg som öppnar upp nya dimensioner för kreativitet och produktivitet inom branschen. Denna utforskning syftar till att fördjupa förståelsen för användningen av LED-väggar inom filmproduktion, genom att utforska deras tekniska funktioner, tillämpningar, fördelar och eventuella utmaningar som kan uppstå under användning.

Vi kommer att utforska de designmetoder som har varit centrala för vår arbetsprocess och resonera kring de designval som formade det slutgiltiga resultatet. Dessutom kommer resultatet att fördjupas i en diskussion där strategier förklaras för att undvika vissa problem som uppstod och hur LED-vägg kan fortsätta utforska inom filmproduktion för framtida studier.

Abstract [en]

Within modern film production, LED walls have emerged as a prominent technology enabling the creation of realistic backgrounds and environments directly on set. Leveraging advanced LED technologies, these walls offer an impressive visual tool that opens up new dimensions for creativity and productivity within the industry. This introduction aims to deepen the understanding of the use of LED walls in film production by exploring their technical features, applications, advantages, and any challenges that may arise during their usage.

We will explore the design methods that have been central to our work process and reason about the design choices that shaped the final result. In addition, the results will be deepened in a discussion where strategies are explained to avoid some problems that occurred and how LED-wall can be further explored in film production for future studies.
