A procedure for mechanical analysis of systems containing wires is presented. In the studied system the wire length is changed which affects the mass, stiffness and damping in the system. Time-varying parameters can give the system a complex dynamic behaviour and possible unstable response. A multi-degree-of freedom system with changing parameters was analyzed in this work and the result shows that the response may contain higher harmonic response. The developed simulation model is believed to be suitable for investigating the effect of design changes and check the stability of the studied system.
