The purpose of this research is to inform business people, especially managers and executives who are facing strategic decision making the benefits and risks of relying on intuition. Hence, they can have a clear mind about to what extend they can trust their intuitions. After reviewing briefly the history of the development of intuition concept and the main ideas of strategic decision making, we have conducted a thorough research about this topic from the following ten aspects: availability, timing, efficiency, flexibility, synthesis, accuracy or effectiveness, reliability, security, storage, and transferring.
