Abstract [sv]

The purpose of this work is to find out if the suctionvalve to the salivaejector for dental equipment in a simple way can be improved or if a new design is needed. The result of the examination of the suctionvalve shows that the friction between the piston and the seal is high and that this causes the valve in a few cases sheaves. The study concluded that only small changes in material or detail, improve the component.

Abstract [en]

Syftet med detta arbete är att ta reda på om sugventilen till salivsug för dentalutrustning på ett enkelt sätt går att förbättra eller om en nykonstruktion är nödvändig. Resultatet av undersökningen av sugventilen visar att friktionen emellan kolv och tätning är hög och att detta medför att ventilen i ett fåtal fall kärvar. Slutsatsen av undersökningen ger att med endast små förändringar i material eller detaljer går komponenten att förbättra.
