Abstract [sv]

Examensarbetet Framtidens skolbänk som har utförts på avdelningen för maskinteknik vid Blekinge Tekniska högskola i samarbete med grundskolan Vittra Adolfsberg. Skolbänken är till för att möjliggöra ergonomiskt bra arbetsställningar i både sittande och stående position för alla elever oavsett längd och storlek. Dessutom ska skolbänken underlätta användandet av digitala undervisningsredskap såsom datorer och surfplattor. Examensarbetet består i att utveckla och konstruera en skolbänk som möjliggör detta utan att skolbänken blir för dyr eller för ömtålig för att kunna vara att reellt alternativ för alla skolor. Idag så är projektet på konceptstadiet men det finns definitivt möjligheter att någon variant på mitt förslag skulle kunna kommersialiseras då det i dagsläget inte finns några liknande produkter på marknaden.

Abstract [en]

This final report is the result of cooperation between the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology and the elementary school Vittra Adolfberg. The project is named: The next generation school desk. The purpose of the school desk is to create good ergonomic positions to work both sitting and standing for all student no matter their size or height. The desk should also make it easier for the students to use digital gear like laptops and tablets. The thesis is to develop and construct a desk that makes all this possible without making it to expensive or fragile so it becomes a realistic option for all schools. Today the project is in the concept stage but there is a good possibility that some version of my concept can be commercialized in the future because there is no similar product on the market today.
