The aim with the study has been to take to find out what young people has for view/opinion about the police. The theory acts about attitudes and opinions, and a short summary of what the law book says about young people that have been taken in by the police. Questionnaire survey was done on two different schools in three different classes; total were 49 young people that filled the questionnaire. T-tests, diagrams and mean were done in order to show the result. The results show that there were some young people that had a negative attitude opinion to the police. The reasons taking a negative sight were among other thing that some off the young people had may a poorly refuting off the police, and the positive sight was in order to regarded that the police do their jobs and it is good that they exist, so that they can investigate crimes. Also a big party of young people considered that they had had another view of the police if they visited them more often at school. Abstrakt Syftet med studien har varit att ta reda på vad ungdomar har för uppfattning om polisen. Teorin handlar om attityder och uppfattningar, samt en kort sammanfattning om vad lagboken säger om ungdomar som blir omhändertagna av polisen. Enkätundersökning gjordes på två olika skolor i tre olika klasser, sammanlagt var det 49 ungdomar som fyllde i enkäten. T-tester, diagram och medelvärde gjordes för att få en klar bild av resultatet. Resultatet visade att det fanns några ungdomar som hade en negativ attityd och uppfattning till polisen. Anledningarna till den negativa synen var bland annat att några av ungdomarna hade fått ett dåligt bemötande av polisen, och den positiva synen var för att ansåg att polisen gör sina jobb och att det är bra att de finns så de kan reda ut brott. Samt ansåg en stor del av ungdomarna att de hade haft en annan uppfattning av polisen om de besökt de i skolan oftare.
