Estimation of parametric sound field controlled by source amplitudes and phases using numerical simulation

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of sound source conditions on the properties of length-limited parametric sound beam. Using numerical simulations, we evaluated the beam profiles of length-limited parametric sound varying the amplitudes and initial phases of sound sources. Numerical experiments indicated that, for the deviation of±10% from the optimal conditions, the amplitude deviation more affects the beam profiles than the phase deviations.
