Abstract [en]

This paper presents an overview and survey of fuzzy logic applications in wireless communication systems with a focus on fuzzy logic or fuzzy-hybrid approaches in the areas of channel estimation and channel equalization. The goal of the paper is to highlight areas in which fuzzy logic techniques have been successfully used in applied telecommunications and signal processing. With this as a background, we propose areas for further research where fuzzy logic techniques are applied to real problems.
