Abstract [en]

Many Swedish high-rise housing estates are creaking at the seams today, especially those which have a difficult immigrant situation. There is a great risk that we may try and apply easy solutions, says Eva Örsjö. These do not exist, but there is an approach to problem areas which works. It is based on reinforcing the positive forces and counteracting the negative ones.
