A single radar system is available for monostatic radar measurements. Information about range and Doppler of targets can be retrieved from monostatic radar measurements. With a radar network, e.g., built with two radar systems, both monostatic and bistatic radar measurements can be performed simultaneously, providing information beyond range and Doppler. The information retrieved from the radar measurements can be used, for example, to locate and track targets accurately. In this study, we investigate the target localization and tracking problem using a radar network built with two radar systems. The experiments show the feasibility of the approach. A discussion of the radar network is also provided.
