Abstract [sv]

I en tidigare kurs har vi utvecklat en prototyp av en social plattform för förskolepedagoger, kallad The Mind Tree. Syftet med plattformen är att skapa en digital mötesplats där förskolepedagoger enkelt kan dela med sig av erfarenheter, undervisningsmaterial och pedagogiska metoder, samt ta del av andras kunskap inom olika lärområden. Målet är att främja det kollegiala lärandet och skapa en levande kunskapsdelning mellan förskolepedagoger.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka om det finns ett behov av en sådan plattform, samt vilka funktioner och innehåll som är relevanta och användbara för förskolepedagoger i deras fortbildning och kompetensutveckling.

Genom empiriska undersökningar och litteraturstudier har vi sammanfattat det nuvarande utbudet samt tillgången till kollegialt lärande, med särskilt fokus på den sociala plattformen Facebook.

Tidigare forskning, i kombination med enkätresultat, visar att det finns ett tydligt behov av en sådan plattform, förutsatt att den uppfyller viktiga säkerhetskrav och erbjuder innehåll av hög kvalitet.

Abstract [en]

In a previous course, we developed a prototype of a social platform for preschool teachers, called The Mind Tree. The purpose of the platform is to create a digital meeting place where preschool teachers can easily share experiences, teaching materials, and pedagogical methods, as well as access knowledge from others across various subject areas. The goal is to promote collaborative learning and foster active knowledge exchange among preschool educators.

This study aims to investigate whether there is a need for such a platform, and which functions and content are relevant and useful for preschool teachers in their continued education and professional development.

Through empirical research and literature studies, we have summarized the current range and access to collaborative learning, with a particular focus on the social platform Facebook.

Previous research, combined with survey results, shows that there is a clear need for such a platform, provided that it meets essential security requirements and offers high-quality content.
